Integration of Technology at Junior School
The 21st century work habits require technological skills. This raises the concern on the products of an education system. The competency based curriculum aims at producing students who have been through an instructional process that integrates technology. During the time when covid-19 caused a lock down, the economy was hard hit. Nations have had to rethink and managed to digitize data in most of its institutions. Creating a mostly paperless work environment will mitigate covid-19 spread. With the change in work habits, there is a reason to ensure that education encompasses digital literacy. Junior schools are expected to integrate technology in all learning areas. Learners will learn how to use cloud solutions to save documents. This will prepare them for future work environments. Teachers on the other hand are being prepared through professional development programs to handle digital needs of learners.
