Easy steps to split screen on your devices

 To split screen on a Windows 10 device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the app you want to use in split screen mode.

  2. Drag the title bar of the app to the left or right edge of the screen until you see a gray outline of the window.

  3. Release the mouse button. The app will be split into two halves of the screen.

  4. To open another app in split screen mode, drag the title bar of that app to the other half of the screen.

  5. To resize the windows, drag the border between the two windows.

  6. To close a window, drag the border to the edge of the screen.

To split screen on an Android device, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Recent Apps menu.

  2. Long - press the app you want to use in split screen mode.

  3. Tap Split screen.

  4. To open another app in split screen mode, long - press the app you want to use and tap Split screen.

  5. To resize the windows, drag the border between the two windows.

  6. To close a window, drag the border to the edge of the screen.

  • You can also use split screen mode to watch videos and play games. For example, you could open a video streaming app and a game app so that you can watch a video while you play a game.
